The Story Collider: Science storytelling workshop

Stories are powerful. Though often overlooked, evidence shows that storytelling is one of the more valuable skills for science communicators to develop as they seek engage a wider range of people with research and ideas.

In this half day workshop, you'll be introduced to a blend of creative techniques and empirical science to gain a new appreciation of narrative, but most importantly, you'll work under the guidance of the Story Collider team to brainstorm, develop, and refine your own stories.

This workshop is open to researchers, postgraduate students and science communication professionals. SCANZ members can register at a discounted rate.*

Places are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment. For more information about the Science Communicators Association of New Zealand (SCANZ) and to join, visit their website.
