The Research Bazaar 2018 (ResBaz) is a three-day festival hosted by the University of Auckland’s Centre for eResearch and the eResearch community promoting digital literacy in modern research.

This annual event, held at several sites around the world at the same time, will help you master new research skills, while having fun. We want you curious; we want to surprise you and we want your help to build a supportive eResearch community.

ResBaz aims to:

  • Kickstart a research training program in New Zealand to teach the digital skills required for cutting-edge research in the 21st century.
  • Facilitate collaboration between early career researchers (e.g. PhD students, post-docs, ECRs, research fellows) who aspire to work with other world-class researchers using next generation digital research tools.

Sessions and speakers

ResBaz offers a plethora of different sessions. Session topics include Python, Git, LaTeX, R, Safe Coding writing a data management plan, copyright and licensing and much more.

We are thrilled to be joined by guest speakers Harkanwal SinghDr Alys Clark and Associate Professor Minako O’Hagan.

More sessions, speakers and a detailed programme is available on the event website - ResBaz Auckland.  Keep up-to-date on and find out more.
