Are you under 25 years of age and need a scholarship?
The Eureka! Sir Paul Callaghan Awards are designed to encourage science communication skills in young New Zealanders. Each year $50,000 worth of scholarships are awarded. The top prize is $10,000 with three runners up prizes of $5,000 each. The remainder is distributed through a variety scholarships to participants. Scholarship sponsors include Treasury, NIWA, BECA, MacDiarmid Institute, Weta Workshop, Contact Energy, MPI, Ministry of Health, EQC and Ministry of Education amongst others. Scholarships may also include mentoring or summer roles for the right speaker.
Entry in the Eureka! Science Communication Competition is open to all undergraduate, including honours, students under the age of 25 years.
