The Faculty of Science Postdoc Society

We are very excited to announce the launch of the Faculty of Science Postdoc Society!

We are a society run by Postdocs, for Postdocs, and are here to support early career researchers, promote excellent science and facilitate networking and collaborations.

To celebrate our launch we are hosting a symposium event for everyone to get to know each other and hear about the exciting research that is being conducted across the Faculty. Postdocs are encouraged to present a 3 minute “elevator pitch” about their research with $300 worth of prizes up for grabs! Come and hear from our star of the show, Dr JJ Eldridge as well as a diverse range of (yet to be) invited postdocs from across the Faculty.

When: Tuesday November 15th – 1-5pm talks, 5-7pm refreshments and networking

Where: Conference Centre Lecture Theatre (Building 423, room 342)

Who: Everyone! Anyone who is interested in awesome science is welcome to attend however talks will only be given to Postdocs and Early Career Researchers
