The 2017 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Australian and New Zealand Fellowships are now open for application.

Each year the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program recognises the achievements of outstanding female scientists in over 100 countries. Since 1998 over 2,500 women have been awarded Fellowships to support their continued research.

In 2017 we are increasing the number of For Women in Science Australian Fellowships to four. We will award these four $25,000 Fellowships along with the New Zealand Fellowship in October 2017.

Applications are due by April 3 2017.

Eligible candidates must be within five years of completing their PhD and an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
