University Reserves Advisory Group

The University Reserves Advisory Group is responsible for advising on the uses and management of the University's reserves and related matters.

The University of Auckland has been involved in the use and management of scientific reserves at Anawhata, Huapai, Oratia, Swanson, and Leigh for decades. The University has been gifted these properties by alumni, purchased them, or been involved in their management. The University Reserves Advisory Group meets regularly to discuss and advise on the uses and management of these reserves and related matters.

All reserves are managed by the Reserves Co-ordinator with the support and input of Stanley Jones, the Grounds and Precinct Manager (Property Services) in addition to many other staff across a number of faculties.
