Scholarships and awards

Māori and Pacific students can access a range of scholarships and awards provided either by the University or through external organisations.

Subject-specific scholarships


Māori and Pacific students enrolling into their first year of undergraduate study towards a Bachelor of Science (BSc), majoring in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, Ecology or Marine Science may apply for the Frances Barkley Scholarship

Receive funding for your tuition fees for up to three years, to the value of $5,000.  

Application closing date: 1 November.
