Fieldtrips for geography, geology, and science teachers

Statistics and Physics Teachers' Day

Every year the Departments of Statistics and the Department of Physics run a day of speakers, workshops, and electives for interested science teachers. These days are a chance to interact with our academics, to respond to ideas for statistics and physics teaching from your peers, to increase awareness of trends of professional interest, and to network with colleagues.

Origami Maths Workshops

Faculty of Science alumnus Hugh Gribben visits schools to teach maths hands on. Hugh uses origami to give students a new perspective on what mathematics can be. The Department of Mathematics is covering half of the fee to schools for a limited time, so get in touch.
