Exercise Rehabilitation will train students in the use of exercise therapy for the maintenance of healthy functional movement in people who have existing pathologies and disabilities, and as a prophylaxis for people at risk of developing disease related to inactivity.

There will be an emphasis on working with people who have chronic musculoskeletal pain, its psychological consequences, and appropriate rehabilitation. The programme will encourage students to develop opportunities for working with patients in facilities in the Department as well as the wider community.
