The Faculty of Science would like to welcome all Māori and Pacific Island students. We acknowledge you all as ambassadors of your community and are committed to providing a pathway to success.

With over 1,000 Māori and Pacific Science graduates the Faculty of Science seeks to continually enhance its relationships and service to ensure you get the best tertiary experience possible.

Tuākana programme

Tuākana is a mentoring programme designed to help Māori and Pacific students achieve the best possible grades via workshops, study groups and sessions with tutors and mentors.

Study rooms and facilities

We have got spaces within the faculty where you can study, rest, meet and talk, get help.

Scholarships and awards

Māori and Pacific students can access a range of scholarships and awards provided either by the University or through external organisations.
