Tuākana programme
Equity at Auckland runs a Tuākana-Teina programme for Māori and Pacific students.
The first step to success for undergraduate students is becoming involved in the Tuākana programme. This tutoring and mentoring programme has been operating for over 20 years now and began in the Faculty of Science.
Within the Tuākana programme you can expect to receive tutorial support, course information, exam workshops, opportunities to connect with potential employers, and an established cohort of students and staff to walk alongside as you move toward achieving your goals.
